Re: Hatfield-McCoy trails
It was a few years ago, but I spent a week there back in March '05. It was a 17 hour drive from Plattsburgh, NY. Well worth the trip though. Fantastic riding. There are all kinds of trails, from advanced trails where you only cover a few miles in an hour, to scenic dirt roads where you make good time and just enjoy the cruise. If you can afford the drive down, and back, it is well worth the trip IMO.

Re: Hatfield-McCoy trails
Thanks for answering back Adirondack Man . I checked out there web site and there many choices of trail
systems and departure points. If its not too much to ask do you have any suggestions of a good spot to
sleep or departure point ,we are looking for easy to intermediate trails with scenic sites .
Anyway i hope the weather willbe nice .

Re: Hatfield-McCoy trails
I stayed at the Colonial Inn, in Mann, WV. It was only about a mile to the Browning Forks trailhead. You can ride the roads and you ride right to the trail head from the motel. The rooms were definetely not 5 star, but the prices were extremely reasonable. The owners were also very good about letting you do any necessary wrenching on your atv right in the parking lot. I would definetely stay there again if I ever get the chance to make it back. Here is a link.
